This Privacy Policy explains how RasadAI ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our website at rasadai.com and our services (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

  • Account information: name, email address, organization name, password (hashed).
  • Configuration: brand keywords, social handles, subreddit names, and integration tokens (Slack, Discord, Telegram, Microsoft Teams) that you configure for monitoring.
  • Communications: messages sent via in-product chat, email, or our contact form.

Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, timestamps, and approximate IP-based location (used for security and abuse prevention).
  • Device data: browser type, operating system, device model (mobile app).
  • Cookies: session cookies for authentication. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Information from Public Sources

To deliver the Service, we monitor public posts on social media, news sources, and public forums (including X/Twitter, Instagram, Reddit, YouTube, and news aggregators) for the keywords and handles you configure. We process only public content; we do not access private accounts, direct messages, or content behind authentication walls.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
  • Detect, classify, and alert you to brand mentions, threats, and opportunities.
  • Send transactional messages (alerts, scan summaries, account notifications).
  • Improve product features, security, and reliability.
  • Comply with legal obligations, enforce our Terms, and protect our rights.

3. AI Processing

We use third-party large language model providers (currently Anthropic via OpenRouter) to classify mention sentiment, threat level, and category, and to draft suggested responses. The text of public mentions and your configured "brand voice" persona is sent to these providers solely for the purpose of generating analysis. Providers are contractually prohibited from training their models on this data.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only:

  • With service providers (e.g. Vercel for hosting, Supabase for database, Anthropic for AI inference, social-data API providers) under contracts that limit use to providing the Service.
  • For legal reasons when required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, property, or safety.
  • In a business transfer (merger, acquisition) where data may be transferred subject to this Privacy Policy.

5. Data Retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active. Mention data and AI analyses are retained for the duration of your subscription so historical trends remain available. On account closure, we delete personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

6. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage at rest, hashed passwords (bcrypt), per-tenant data isolation, and least- privilege access controls. No system is perfectly secure; we encourage you to use strong passwords and enable any available account-protection features. See our Security page for more detail.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction or deletion of your data.
  • Export your data in a portable format.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

8. International Transfers

Our infrastructure operates in the United States and the European Union. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your data to these jurisdictions, which may have different data protection laws than your country.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-product notice at least 30 days before they take effect.
